Welcome to the Dalmeny Fishing Club.

Meets once a month

OUR CLUB WAS FORMED IN 1983 BY A GROUP OF LOCAL ENTHUSIASTIC FISHERMAN

Today we are regarded as a family fishing club with the aim of improving our fishing skills with emphasis on having a great time.

COMPETITIONS

MONTHLY COMPETITION RULES

Start time : 0000 hrs (midnight) Saturday morning

Weigh in : 1300 hrs (1 pm) Sunday afternoon

Points will be awarded as follows : each competitor weighing in a legal size & acceptable species will be awarded 20 points for that fish and an additional 20 points will be awarded for the heaviest fish of each species weighed in on the day. Only one fish of each acceptable species per competitor will be allowed.
A record of the largest fish of each species weighed in during the year will be kept and any competitor who beats the existing heaviest fish of a particular species will be awarded an additional 20 points.
All fish must be gilled and cleaned

Monthly prizes will be awarded to anglers in the following categories

  • 1 Mens Highest points score
  • 2 Ladies Highest points score
  • 3 Junior Boys Highest points score
  • 4 Junior Girls Highest points score

5 An additional prize for the lucky angler will also be awarded each month. Each person weighing in a fish will go in the draw.
